# Why the zika tree doesn't include African genotype?

I noticed that the Nextstrain zika tree only inlude Asian genotype samples, with the earliest sample from Thailand in 2013. Why the African genotype samples weren’t there? Is it because of the poor quality of African samples, or the different evolution rate between the two genotypes?
